Think of your subconscious mind as a “hard drive” containing your entire life’s memories, scripts, programming, rules, values and beliefs. Programs stored on the “hard drive” are continuously running beyond your sight, controlling your functions and behaviors. “There is no evidence that hypnosis in itself weakens the will, damages the nervous system or in any way adversely affects the physical or mental well being of individuals,” states Andre M. Weitzenhoffer, Ph.D. Because hypnosis is as natural as sleeping and waking, there is no more danger of getting “lost” or “stuck” while in a hypnotic trance than it is possible to get stuck in a dream when you are sleeping (which is a form of naturally occurring deep trance state). People always awaken from trance, although sometimes they may feel reluctant to emerge because it feels so good.

Is hypnosis guaranteed?

No and yes. Results are not guaranteed. We cannot guarantee you will “do the work” that supports the change you desire. We do guarantee, however, that you have the ability to convince or unconvince yourself of anything. This ability is not always voluntary; many of our beliefs are formed unconsciously from the environment that surrounds us. In truth, a hypnotherapist is a self-hypnosis coach. We coach you to communicate with your unconscious mind in a way that empowers you to achieve your goals.
